Hello

Growing up in a home of avid readers allowed me to develop a love of the written word from a young age.

I’ve always enjoyed the duality of adhering to standardized rules of grammar and tinkering with syntax and diction. I sharpened these skills over more than a decade as an English educator, teaching college-level courses in language, composition, and research, and high school courses in literature. I also taught English Language Learners (ELL) in Spain and Costa Rica. 

I enrolled in the Professional Sequence in Editing at UC Berkeley to expand my editing skills. After acing rigorous coursework led by exceptional instructors, I earned credentials as a professional editor.
